Notes A cover for my sewing machine to keep the dust off.  The hard cover that came with it won't fit over the cables, and I don't want to unplug every time.  And this is prettier.  I used a tutorial from Ros at 'Sew Delicious' (http://sewdelicious.com.au/2013/01/quilted-sewing-machine-cover-tutorial.html), but I used the lining as the bottom edge binding, like in the tutorial from Suzanne at 'Notes from the Patch' (http://patches.typepad.com/notes_from_the_patch/2010/11/tutorial-tuesday-32-sewing-machine-cozy.html).  I quilted the 5" squares a quarter inch from each seam line, and the two ends I quilted with a cross on the diagonal.  I used 80/20 cotton/poly batting and zigzagged all the seams for structure, though they are enclosed.

That's such a great idea! Thank you for sharing the links and the "how to". Barbara (zibergirl)
