| Notes | 14th May - tissue fit trialled since I wasn't sure of the sizing for this pattern house. It looks as if they are using the American sizing since I was shocked to realise I could be a 12 for this style. The 10 has a bust size of 41 inches, finished size so a slightly larger size might be best. Note - the pattern instructions only show the sizing for the size ten although the paper pattern itself is marked out for sizes 4 to 16 with the instruction that the remaining sizes are a matter of two inches difference in circumference from each other. 26th May - made a toile just to check the sizing. It fit perfectly! Went for the size ten in the end. 29th May - cut out the fabric and have started work. |
