i have made a dress and it fitted perfectly but not sure how to increase size for outer garments.

Hello and thank you for your message,
In general, I would recommend choosing either semi-fitted ease - for light suiting fabrics - or loose - for wool etc.
We are going to add coats as a separate section, as it would be better to tweak the front darts for a more loose fit.
