Pin them together, right sides together, and sew. Press seam apart. - Gather fullness along the upper edge so that the lengths of the upper and the lower edges match. Pin the edges together and sew, leaving long threads at the ends. Tie knots, serge and press towards the top. (160) Sew sleeve seam. Serge and press towards back. (161) FRONT SKIRT WITH FACINGS - Serge the outer edge of the facing. - Pin Front Skirt Facings to Front Skirts right sides together, and sew along the edge. - Clip into curves, trim corners, and turn the facing onto the wrong side.
