| Notes | Pattern Description: 1950s Nurse Uniform using Simplicity 8014 Pattern Sizing: Standard Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? No - I mixed and matched and added gathering to back bodice to make it look more like a 1950s nurses uniform Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes if you have some sewing experience you don't need to look at them What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Made it before and thought I could modify it to make a vintage style nurse uniform Fabric Used: Cotton Drill Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: added gathers to back bodice to give it more of a vintage feel Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I have made this before and would make it again International nurse's week and we are dressing up for work. Used simplicity 8014 to make a 1950s type nurse's uniform. Cotton drill from Spotlight. Buttons are vintage buttons from Ebay. Back is modified with gathers to make it more like a 50s uniform |
