Thanks Ashley for starting the group!

I am Natalia, and I've been knitting from time to time since I was around 7 or 8 yo - my grandmother taught me to. I usually invent a design rather than using a ready one, and my favorite topic is nature. If you've ever seen Maple Leaf Shawl by Elfmoda - that would be me :)

Right now I don't knit much as I have to look after my kids and they are probably as good to a ball of yarn as a 3 month kitten. :)

Thank you for joining, Natalia!

My name is Ashley and I have been knitting since I was 22 (back in November of 2012).   I taught myself by learning for resources off of the Internet and as well as knitting books from good ole Walmart!  While I had done some "free-hand" knitting projects, I mostly use a pattern.   I will be ready to make my own patterns when I am ready!

And I am from Germany, Thuringia, student, mama of a wonderful baby girl :)

Hello, my name is Mandy. I've been knitting for rather a long time - over 50 years! Like Natalia, I learnt how to knit with my grandmother. My mother, both sisters, and two daughters are also knitters.
I am also on Ravelry.
