(99) Fold the sleeve in half vertically, and sew the slanted straight section near the hem, and continue sewing the curved sections between the dashed lines. You may stop at 3-4 cm from the fold. Sew the sleeve into armhole, adjusting ease and matching notches. Arrange the pleats according to the technical drawing and the dashed line on the pattern. You may fix the inner folds of the pleats to make them stay in place, or let them run freely. (100) Sew Pocket Bags to the Front Skirt along the pocket opening, between the markings. Serge. Pin Front Skirt with the pocket bags to the Front Bodice, wrong sides together. Sew along the lower and the center edge of the pocket bags and continue sewing the seam between the skirt and the bodice. Serge and press towards bottom. Baste the side edge of the pocket bags to the Front Skirt. Treat as one piece (Front) in the future. |
