| Notas | Fit: - Did 1/2" FBA on size 14 - armholes too long, bodice too long, back too big Construction: - knobbed up the collar so didn't attach it (I sewed the inside edge not the outside) - zigzagged facing edges - hemmed by hand. Should have cut off excess but didn't Materials: - didn't have matching thread & was worried about quantity of closest colour so put it in spool & another colour in bobbin - fabric was a bit too stiff (Fabricland cotton) - interfacing too stiff (think I used something medium?) BEWARE: Outside edge of collar should be sewn with smaller seam allowance than implies in instructions - see Colette Flickr group discussion |
