Interfacing: woven sew in interfacing
Pattern changes:
- omitted collar, added neck hole facing
- moved arm slits 5/8" towards the side seam (I found them a bit too close to the centre front
- shortened lenght 2.5"
- used sew-in interfacing at facings
- added stay tape at shoulders, neck hole and arm slits to ensure they won't stretch out
- sew the hem by hand
- bagged the lining
I previously made a winter white cape using a sparkly boucle. This cape found a new home - my sister-in-law is going to wear it at her wedding (I will also make her wedding dress). She didn't want the knitted collar I made for it, I love how it looks with this cape - I love big and dramatic collars. |
