| Notes | This is a costume pattern, I used it as a blank canvas for a Victorian Ulster Coat Fabric Used: Wool Tweed Lining: Silk Sateen Interfacing: Sew in canvas Interfacing Pattern Changes: - added welt pockets - added front seams for shaping - took out 1" at the waist of centre back seam for shaping - drafted a 2 piece sleeve - shortened to cape to elbow length - lined the coat as well as the cape - used traditional tailoring techniques to make the coat - added back belt with buttons for shaping Lining: heavy weight silk sateen Interfacing: densely woven cotton canvas as sew-in interfacing |
