Notes So excited to start this, just waiting on my fabric to arrive!

Block 20: Tiled Stars: And finally, after a week of waiting for my last little bit of background fabric, the blocks are done! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-20-tiled-stars)

Block 19: Horsetail Falls: only one more to go! Loved fussy cutting for this one. (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-19-horsetail-falls)

Block 18: Holladay Star: love this block, and really really liked the sample quilt layout. Might have to try it at some point! Wish I would have done a black start surrounded by white instead of the reverse in the middle (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-18-holladay-star)

Block 17: Triangles: this one wasn't a favorite at first, but I think it turned out really cute! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-17-triangles)

Block 16: Starshine: I loved how this block turned out and want to make a million quilts with it! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-16-starshine)

Block 15: Sunbeam: we'll see if this one makes it through the end-of-sampler cut or not.. it's a little busy! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-15-sunbeam)

Block 14: Piccolo Park: quick sew and perfect fabric placement! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-14-piccolo-park)

Block 13: Diamond Ladder: this was different one, but I don't dislike how it came out! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-13-diamond-ladder)

Block 12: Around the Corner: super fast! love how this one turned out (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-12-around-the-corner)

Block 11: Ombre Cross: goofed sewing this one up, but I'm calling it a design feature for now... Really liked this one! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-11-ombre-cross)

Block 10: Parallel: a different one, like how it turned out (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-10-parallel)

Block 9: Curves: loved using all of my fabrics, and I'm still in love with curved piecing! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-9-9-and-14s)

Block 8: Deck of Cards: Love. Just.. love. (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-8-deck-of-cards)

Block 7: Trail Crossing: i had been DREADING this one, and I'm still not sure I'm super crazy about it. I thin kit will be a nice contrast to some of the other blocks, but... (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-7-trail-crossing)

Block 6: Corner Canyon: really liked this one too, love me some HSTs. Stuck with the blacks and whites for this one to give some of my less featured fabric some air time! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-6-corner-canyon)

Block 5: Sugarhouse: this might be my favorite since the very first block. Love how it turned out! Went back and forth for a couple middle options, but I think anything else would have made it too busy/dark. (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-5-sugarhouse)

Block 4: X marks the Spot: Little paper piecing to spice things up! Alex picked out the fabrics/design, and I think it worked out great! (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/week-4-x-marks-the-spot)

Block 3: Snowcone (first time on curves, and I'm totally addicted. already have plans to bide my time til next week's block with a drunkard's path mini quilt! ended up a bit on the small side, not sure if me or pattern. think I can fudge it at the end, but may end up cutting some border pieces that are about a quarter inch wider. (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-3-snow-cone)

Block 2: Summer Slice (this guy got a little crazy. hoping he blends in a little when the quilt is done!) (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-2-summer-slice)

Block 1: Turkey Vulture (whoa, getting used to using prints! this block took THREE HOURS. i haven't ever had a block take that long. think this quilt will really fine-tune my piecing skills) (Blogged! http://krystinah.weebly.com/blog/block-1-turkey-vulture)
