| Notes | 31st August: The basic plan is going to be exactly the same as that used for "5Rs for sewers." I shall be using different slogans though. (I really am not good at making two things the same.)1st September:The photo I have added is the state this poor bag is in at the moment. I shall be reusing the handles which are still in really good condition and some of the jute fabric. The lining of this bag is in good condition so I shall be reusing that - I added it around two years ago when the outer of the bag started to fail. The bag is only usable at the moment because of the lining! It also looks so shabby!!!4th January 2011: Got started with this project yesterday since I shall need the bag next week. Just taken the whole thing to pieces. The jute cover was in a dreadful state with very little of the fabric actually reuseable. I shall just reuse the motifs and put the rest into my collection of items to use for printing/stencilling.6th January: An update with photos. The second photo shows the state of the bag now - more a kit of parts than anythig else. The third photo shows the buttons, ribbons and pieces I shall be using to reconstruct the bag. There is some fabric too. |
