Notes	the waist gives a beautiful side view! flattering from all angles and no irritation to the surgery scar! After upper thigh surgery, I needed some loose fitting jeans to cover the scar while not squeezing the tender area until it is full healed. These "flare" pants with a straight leg and high waist are both form flattering and wicked comfortable.
