| Notizen | Elegant trouwers because of the pleats that radiate from the waistband and comfortable thanks to the flexibility they create. Loose fit with a dropped crotch, giving these trousers a relaxed fit. I opted for a 7/8 length. The trousers have a shaped waistband and a piece of elastic in the back for flexibility, a zip fly, and slanted side pockets. Pattern: Naima pants from Fibre Mood (pattern book no. 25) Adjustments: Adjustment made to the pattern; I took size 46 for the hips and legs, and 48 for the waist, to fit my body. Ultimately, size 48 was slightly too wide, so size 46 is likely a better fit. Fabric: 2 m black twill frabic (from the scrap drawer ;) Other adjustments: I used bias tape to finish the inside of the waistband. The button had to be moved slightly to tighten the band, and to match it nicely with the zipper fly. |
