It is probably too early to quote the formulas we are using, until we are ready to publish a good English version of the software, however some of the things can certainly be discussed. :)
When building a pattern for this skirt, we based it on a princess seam dress, so that the upper part of the belt will fit the bodice better. The waist dart was of course moved so that it provides space for the shaped button fastening.
I will be posting images from the software and make notes on what percentages we use of the size measurements when drafting a pattern.
