We hope you have a fun and rewarding experience as a member of Sewist! Summer is almost here!  

The flowers are blooming and trees are budding! The days are longer (here in California) so there is more time to sew and enjoy the outdoors.  My quilting projects are multiplying! I've been inspired by other Sewists and what they have been sharing. 

Note to all the new members: Be sure to add your photo or an identifying icon, so that we can get to know you and recognize your projects! Also share your project photos! Give out a few compliments and hearts to your fellow Sewists.

Take a look at the recently added pattern designers. BurdaStyle has 5879 patterns, Fashion Patterns by Coni has 9 patterns, Simplicity has 419! 

Are you a pattern designer? You could also list your patterns on Sewist. Sewist has added a Review Tab (under “Patterns" in the menu bar). Now it's easy to post and find any review. It’s great to read reviews and see how garments fit on real people. 

Share your latest creations  and let others know what you like or don’t like about a pattern. Spread the sewing love!
