Two things:
1. When I click on "My Projects", please ALWAYS clear the "Craft" filter so I can see my projects, no matter what type they are.
2. Remember my "Craft" filter preference for Searching across sessions.

I know I'm currently the only quilter, and that's cool. I'm fine being an army of one. But it's making me a little crazy to keep checking those boxes to see my own projects!

1 - easy fix, will do
2 - where would you like to set your craft filter preference? or may be I am getting the "searching across" part incorrectly?

1. Thank you!!

2. Just remember my setting from my last session/the last time I searched? Do you have user preferences that granular?

2 - I guess we can cookie that theoretically, but that's not everyone would want. Maybe some setting in your account, like browse all quilting by default?

I can help with this as I've livde and worked in Belgium for 14 years. I've used various pattern magazines before I found Lekala, so I should be of some help in creating/editing "dictionary/terms & techiques" pages -interternal or wiki.
So now you have 1 more voluneer editor for english - - dutch.

Errata means things that are definitely a fault in the pattern as-published e.g. wrong stitch counts for a row, as opposed to things that are user experience.

On Ravelry they appear on the pattern page and I think must be approved by the pattern designer.
Would it be possible to have a function where anyone can report errata and the designer/publisher can approve them?
It is in the interest of the designer to have errata noted so that people don't get frustrated by following wrong instructions and end up leaving bad reviews. They could also publish updates or note which versions things have been fixed in.

So it is sort of like a conversation between designer and a sewist, which results in designer providing a fix, right?
I guess the text of errata comment is not visible to general public until it's approved?

When adding a pattern, I think we should be able to list it as both a PDF and a paper pattern. Many of the independent pattern makers offer both, and it would crazy to have two listings of the same pattern.

Also, I added a book to my Library, but it didn't show up anywhere.

1) Noted, will fix
2) For now you can filter these on Books by clicking In my library. We shall work on making the My library page more comprehensive.

I guess so - and that seems fair. You don't want to be warning about an issue unless it definitely exists :)

1. I'd like to be able to sort my projects by Date, Happiness, etc. For now, I'm having to just click through the pages of My Projects until I find the one I'm looking for.

2. In the hover text that shows project names, apostrophes aren't rendering properly. I'm seeing a lot of "'"s.

3. If a project doesn't have a picture yet, can you show the name instead of the generic placeholder image? I have several projects with no photo and it's annoying to have to hover over them to see which one is which.

Would be great if we can add olny a year or a year and a month for the project dates. I don't know, when I started and finished my older projects.

1. Fixed
2. Fixed
3. There's a separate line for pattern name now, so I guess we shall leave the placeholder image for now.

Hi! I think this is where I should post this, but if not, please move it. :-)

I was just writing a review, and I took the time to try and format it for
easy reading, but all of my paragraphs were merged together. That makes
it super hard to read and use later, IMO. Obviously this isn't a
critical issue, but I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for this site, I'm enjoying it so far! :-)

Sorry, I missed the post! I shall pass on the issue with formatting to the IT, I am sure it can be fixed in no time.

Thanks for the kind words, it is so important to us! :-)

Hi! Is there a way to see my libary? It is in my profile, but I can not click it :)

And it would be great, if we could projects over the libary - like "add project with this pattern". Do you understand what I try to say? :D

Hello,

you can currently filter patterns by My Library (just select this in filters on patterns page). To create a project, you'd just need to click the scissors button on the pattern list or inside the pattern.

We are now recoding library to include books and magazines, and will bring it back to personal account shortly. :)

I hope you find a way to incorporate a possibility for other community member to edit patterns they did not added themselves.

Maybe a way could be that one could "adopt" patterns or designers/sources. And if designers add their patterns themselves they could be maybe given the possibility to deny the option "adotption" so only they could edit their patterns. It's something I've seen on ravelry and I like this solution.

That's really something we could do, I just don't know exactly how this works on Ravelry, I used to be an editor there, but long time ago. Does a designer get a notification that the patterns are being adopted?

I think on Ravelry it was rather a Trusted Editor or something along the lines. And I do recall it was for some companies only, not for all the database. I'll talk to the guys :)

I was also thinking that probably we could open editing for some of the information - like tags, or sizes, or fabrics used, that shouldn't be a problem.
